What The HEC | Uraidla Sustainability Fair

The Uraidla Sustainability Fair is back for 2024 and promises to be another unforgettable day. We hope to see you on March 17 at the Uraidla Showgrounds from 10am.

The Hills Environment Centre will be hosting three stalls including Hills Harvest Exchange, Sustainable Housing and Landcare with a rock star appearance by Animals Anonymous to share their love of native animals.

Join the Sustainable Conversations program, where you can connect with local individuals passionate about positively impacting our environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and learn about small changes we can make for a better future.

Curious about electric vehicles and e-bikes? Explore a variety of models and learn all about the benefits of saying goodbye to traditional fuel sources. It’s a step towards a greener, cleaner future. We’ll also once again be welcoming Charge Up The Hill to the fair – if you want to get involved, you can find more info here.

Be part of an enlightening expert panel discussion led by our special guest, Professor Andrew Lowe. Prepare to be challenged and inspired as the panel delves into this year’s topic: A Time for Hope – decarbonising energy, agriculture and gardens.

Indulge in mouthwatering food and drink, explore ethical fashion and sustainable stalls, and soak up the live music. Plus, there are plenty of engaging activities to keep the little ones entertained – a mountain of sand to get lost in, Kindergym, Animals Anonymous and more!

Don’t miss out on this wonderful event! Grab your tickets now – http://tinyurl.com/3ny97yxd

Check us out on Facebook or Instagram if you’d like to keep up to date with the activities, stallholders and entertainment you can find at the fair.

Lastly, if you have a few hours to spare and would like to volunteer at this great community event, email us at admin@sustainabilityfair.com.au
