What The HEC | Uraidla Sustainability Fair

What a happy day on Sunday at the Uraidla Sustainability Fair. Thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible and to everyone who came to visit us at our Hills Environment Centre stalls. We were happy to host the Hills Harvest Exchange with many thanks to our community who donated their freshly harvested produce. Thank you also to Andrew Davidson for sharing his expertise about building Sustainable Homes and to Sixth Creek Landcare group and Friends of Black Hill Morialta for sharing information about the amazing Landcare work they do. Also thank you to Andrew for his Conversation Under the Trees about Worm Farming and Ira for inspiring and informing us about Bush Care. Thank you also to Animals Anonymous who came along to share their gorgeous creatures including a baby crocodile, and some spectacular snakes and lizards. A big hit with the kids! And finally thank you to Kersbrook Nursery for supplying us with some beautiful local native seedlings for sale. A happy day bringing together community and sharing our love of the environment and all things sustainable.
