What The HEC | Monotremes & Nature Journaling

Thank you to Linda Builth and Jenny Deans for running our April school holiday events.

Children were amazed to learn about our unique Australian egg laying mammals and were very impressed that wee-ing, poo-ing and breeding all happens through the one hole – hence the name monotremes!

Nature Journalling taught us all to slow down and “smell the roses”, observe the little details, and hear the soft sounds around us. What a beautiful way to connect with our natural world and to reduce our stress. I am planning to host an adult class, so stay tuned for details!
