What The HEC | A deep dive into native plants

Week one of the Botany Workshop was held at Possum Park with Andrew Crompton. We had a comprehensive introduction to the features of plants which then enabled us to start using keys to identify plant species. As Andrew explained, this is really the only way to ensure you can identify a weed versus a local native. We all walked away feeling very knowledgeable, and what a beautiful environment in which to learn. This Sunday we will learn about Monocot families. There are still two spaces left if anyone would like to join us for the remaining three sessions (24th September 7th & 29th October, 9:30-3pm). https:/NativePlantBotany.eventbrite.com.au
